Terms of Service
1. Who these terms are with
These are the terms on which Future Chain Advisory Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides the Future Chain™ Readiness Index (FCSRI) assessment, Lite Report, and Pro Advisory upgrade (together, “the Service”) to you (“you”, “the customer”).
- Company name: Future Chain Advisory Ltd
- Company number: 17303692
- Registered office: 4 Old London Road, Benson, Oxfordshire, OX10 6RR
By submitting an assessment or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. What we provide
- Free Assessment — a self-scored readiness questionnaire, at no charge.
- Lite Report (£99) — a reviewed, written diagnostic report based on your assessment answers, covering your Future Chain readiness score, strengths, risks, and recommendations.
- Pro Advisory upgrade (£200, on top of a paid Lite Report — £299 total) — a single 90-minute one-to-one advisory session with the Future Chain Advisory founder, arranged directly by email once payment is confirmed. There is no automated booking or calendar system; timing is agreed between us by email.
3. The nature of the Service — please read this carefully
- Your Lite Report and any advisory session are general business guidance, based on the information you provide. They are not legal, financial, tax, investment, or other regulated professional advice, and shouldn’t be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in those areas.
- We prepare your report in good faith based on the answers and narrative you submit. We do not independently verify the information you give us, and the quality and accuracy of your report depends on the accuracy and completeness of what you tell us.
- We do not guarantee any particular business outcome — including fundraising success, investment readiness, or the view of any third party (an investor, accelerator, or partner) — as a result of using the Service.
- Your report reflects our assessment at a single point in time and may not reflect later changes in your business, your market, or your industry.
4. Ordering and payment
- Orders are placed and paid for through our payment provider, Square. We never see or store your full card details.
- Prices are shown in GBP. Future Chain Advisory Ltd is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the prices shown.
- Report preparation begins once your payment is confirmed as received. Reports go through a human review step before release; we aim to deliver within 2 business working days of payment, though this isn’t a guaranteed deadline.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Because each Lite Report is a personalised deliverable prepared specifically from your own assessment answers, once you’ve submitted your assessment and report preparation has begun, fees are non-refundable, except where we haven’t delivered the Service as described, or at our discretion.
- If you are buying as a consumer (rather than in the course of a business), UK law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) would normally give you a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. Because completing your assessment and paying starts the personalised report-preparation process immediately, by placing your order you expressly ask us to begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose this 14-day cancellation right once report preparation has started.
- The Pro Advisory upgrade fee is likewise non-refundable once paid, though we’ll always do our best to find a workable time for your session; if we’re genuinely unable to arrange one within a reasonable period, contact us and we’ll agree a fair resolution.
6. Intellectual property
- The FCSRI scoring methodology, the assessment questions, and the Lite Report format are the intellectual property of Future Chain Advisory Ltd.
- Once you’ve paid for it, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use your own report for your own business purposes — including sharing it with your investors, advisors, or team. You may not resell it, publish it publicly, or use it to build a competing product or service.
- Any information you give us about your own business remains yours. Submitting it to us gives us the right to use it to prepare and deliver your report, as described in our Privacy Notice.
7. Confidentiality
We treat the information you submit about your business as confidential, and won’t disclose it to anyone beyond what’s described in our Privacy Notice, except where required by law.
8. Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information and narrative answers you submit. We rely on this information in good faith when preparing your report and cannot be responsible for conclusions that turn out to be wrong because the underlying information you gave us was incomplete or inaccurate.
9. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (£99 for a Lite Report alone, or £299 in total if you’ve also purchased the Pro Advisory upgrade).
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including loss of profits, business opportunity, or investment — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the report or advisory session.
10. Data protection
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use your personal data, and forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our site at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
